Welcome foodie! Taste Test Tribe is a community where we authentically share our favorite foods and we're so excited you're here!
Our team includes Stacie, Celeste, and Jodi, three friends who love food and want to combat the rise of AI-generated and poorly-developed recipes.
We taste so you don't have to! Because we KNOW you've tried the viral recipes that turn out nothing like promised, and you deserve better.
We will be sharing 💯 honest recipe reviews, our fav restaurant spots, and products we love (or don't)
This is a community, and we hope you will join us by commenting, sharing what you love/don't love, tagging @tastetesttribe on Instagram and sharing with your foodie friends.
About Stacie
For 15 years, I focused on taking care of my family, but food often felt like a chore. I was stuck in a rut, eating just to get by, until I discovered grains through Chef Brad. That sparked a fresh excitement for cooking and helped me find joy in the food I prepare.
Fun Food Facts
- I once sang “soft kitty” on my ukulele for a Mod Pizza employee and she gave me a free dessert.
- I enjoy Chilean dishes as part of my heritage and years ago I called my sister to ask where “comino” was sold since all the workers I asked had no idea what I was taking about. Turns out, I was looking for cumin! I was thrilled to find actual “comino” when I went to Chile in 2019.
- While in Chile, I was delighted to find the biggest cotton candy serving I’ve ever seen. It was a great day.
About Jodi
My foray into being a foodie started back in high school and college when I worked at a fine dining restaurant. I learned the secrets to making the best dishes directly from the owners, and my love for flavors, spices, and food adventures has only grown since then. I love to create delicious made-from-scratch meals, and baking desserts is a forever hobby.
In addition to being a foodie, I’m also a wife and mom to four young adult children who love to eat—though they’re always a bit suspicious when I try out my recipes on them!
My life took a surprising turn several years ago when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The journey has been long and hard, (23 surgeries and counting), but I am determined to live my best life. During my tumor battle, my face was paralyzed and I lost my taste buds for two years. When my sense of taste finally returned, it reignited my love for exploring different flavors and tastes in ways I never imagined.
As an inspirational speaker, YouTuber, and author of the award-winning and best-selling memoir, The Sun Still Shines, I’m excited to share this delicious journey with you all as part of the Taste Test Tribe!
About Celeste
For the last 12 years I've been perfecting the art of gluten-free baking at ThereIsLifeAfterWheat.com where I share recipes, courses, and cookbooks! My career as a creator is challenging and it's also my favorite thing.
I'm a very amateur organist and sometimes play for church or funerals (I took one organ class in college)
I'm a foodie who loves trying new foods and fun drinks. Much to my family's dismay, I rarely make a recipe again once I've perfected it-I'm on to the next one.
My heart is happiest when I'm outside. The ocean is my favorite spot but since I'm landlocked in Utah, I'll also go for hiking in the mountains, a river walk, or paddleboarding on a lake.
I love adventuring with my family, going on girls trips, long walks, cozying up with a good book, trying a new restaurant, and Christian music.
